New Apartment!!!

So I've been a bad blogger lately and I apologize! I just moved into my new apartment on Tuesday and it was crazy moving boxes in 100+ degrees, a hornet's nest just outside my new apartment door, and a cute little surprise!


Let me tell you, I hate moving, but I do love my new apartment! When my parents got into town on Monday night, I had pretty much everything all packed up and ready to go so dad started taking apart the hardware in my old place.  Tuesday morning we rented a U-Haul and started moving.  Dad is great at loading the U-Haul and it only took 3 trips to get everything moved! The colors I had put on the boxes & my floorplan (which I hung on the wall of each room), made it super easy to make sure everything ended up in the right room in the right place. Having boxes in the right room made it easy to unpack them and now, 2 days later, I only have 3 or 4 boxes left! I even have decorations up in most of the rooms!

Let me give you a tour of my new apartment (pardon the mess left from moving) - its not finished, but it still looks beautiful!

Oh and remember earlier when I said I had a cute little surprise? Well it wasn't a surprise for me but for you!!!

This post might have been longer, but Jubilee is making it extremely hard to type; she wants to help. Well I will post more about the projects I'm doing around my new place and when I finish unpacking & decorating!
