A Honeymoon!!!

What's the most exciting part of a wedding to plan WITH your fiance? The honeymoon of course!!! But when it came to planning our honeymoon, Ryan & I didn't think we were going to be able to have a honeymoon! He has an internship next summer which will take up almost the entire summer! We managed to find ONE WEEK between the wedding and starting the internship to take a honeymoon during!!! So, we got planning!

When we first started dating, we both said that we had a dream honeymoon, and as soon as we got engaged & I started looking through wedding magazines, I had another dream.  I'll share both:

1. Ryan and I started off just texting each other a BUNCH before we actually starting dating. (After we met at a summer camp, we were in different cities for about a month so this was how we got to know each other.) We would ask each other questions and one of them was "What is your dream honeymoon?" At this time, we both decided that it would be to go to Italy and visit the Vatican.  How cool would that be? Get the Pope to bless our marriage? Dream!!!

2. In all of the wedding magazines, there are a TON of ads for Sandals resorts!!! They look so romantic and tropical and secluded and relaxing.  Just exactly what a honeymoon should be! I read all about the resorts and fell in love! (Plus someone I look up to a bunch took a Sandals honeymoon and looking at her pictures, I couldn't help but want to go there too!)

Well, as it turns out, one of these dreams is actually coming true!!!

This exciting envelope came to Ryan's house the other day!!!

We are going to the Sandals Resort at La Toc on the Island of St. Lucia!!!!!

If you look closely at the ticket, you can see that we have a "butler suite"!!! Yes, we will have a BUTLER for the week!!!!! Ryan is so amazing and splurged a lot on this trip!!! I am so excited to go on this vacation!!!

I am just so excited and am so blessed that I have found such an amazing man to share my life with! I am overjoyed that we are going to be able to go on this trip! (And that he spoils me so! He treats me like such a princess!!!)

We have also discussed waiting until our 5 or 10 year anniversary and taking a second honeymoon to the Vatican!!! (Ryan sure does spoil me!!!)
