3 Simple Crafts

So, in finding all the old posts that I meant to write, but never did, I found pictures from when I created 3 really fast & easy crafts and figured that I would throw them all into one post for you! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the crafts!
First: Fancy Salt & Pepper Shakers!

I only have one picture of this, the finished product, but what i did was take 2 very classic looking salt and pepper shakers, put a little ribbon bow on the pepper and a small string of pearls on the salt and TA-DA, they are all fancy!!!

It was inspired by a scene from a movie I used to love when I was little (I think the movie was titled Imaginarium, but I cannot find any proof on the internet that this movie exists... :( ) but anyway, there was a scene where salt & pepper came to life & were dancing together. I think it's just super cute!!! (side note: If I ever find that movie again, I will let you know!)

Second: Framed Prayer Gift

So this was the first gift I ever gave to my (now) fiance back when we first started dating.  There was a prayer that I said everyday (and still say).  I'm not sure where I got this prayer from (or if I made it up), but it definitely defines our relationship.

All I did for this gift was get a nice sheet of scrapbook paper, a frame, and some beads. First, I printed the prayer off on the paper, and put it in the frame (halfway done!) Then I got out my hot glue gun & glued the beads to the 4 corners of the frame.

Look how cute!!!

It turned out really great (and not super girly) and Ryan immediately hung it on his wall (where it still lives today)

Lord, Help us grow closer to each other through You,
and help us grow closer to You through each other. Amen

Third: Framed Wall Letters

So one day what I was just wandering aimlessly around Hobby Lobby I ran into this really cute wall letter cling on clearance

Now, since I live in an apartment and knew that I would have to move something in the near-ish future, I didn't want to apply it to the wall, so I found a WAY better option! I had some left over foam board laying around, so I applied it to that!

You have to put the paper down and get it all wet

Then remove paper & admire pretty letters!!!

Next, I cut the excess board away so it was a more reasonable size

No measuring involved yet

Then, I picked a pretty ribbon I had, glued it down as a frame (like I did with the white board) - here is where I measured to make sure everything was the same distance

Finally, I just off the excess from around the frame and TA-DA, complete!!!

Using a bit more ribbon as a hanger

The only thing I would change on this was that the foam board is curling in, so I will be gluing a piece of wood across the back to keep it flat.

Do you have any fun, easy crafts that you suggest I try?
