Save the Dates

We have had a bit of an adventure with our Save the Dates, but we are FINALLY ready with them! I know what you're going to say: "Maddie, your wedding is 11 months away, isn't it a bit early to send out save the dates?" And I would obviously respond: "Well, according to traditional times, you would send them 6-8 months before the wedding.  However, a lot of our guests (read: pretty much all) will have to travel to be able to come to our wedding, so we want to give them as much time as possible to make those arrangements.  Also, our wedding will be Memorial Day weekend, and we don't want people to make other plans.  (But love that our guests get an extra day off after our wedding!) Finally, we decided that we might as well send them out earlier since we have such a long engagement!"
So, here's the story: at the advise of one of our good friends, we went to magnetstreet.com and found some ADORABLE save the dates! We were able to totally customize them to our colors (including our hair colors!)  They are also magnets (a total must for me) and are totally affordable!

I ordered a TON of samples from them until I found one that was perfect! I went ahead & ordered them all & just had to wait for them to get here!

When they finally did, I opened them & they were super cute!! At least I thought so until Ryan pointed something out, the color was wrong! (I was super proud of him for catching that!) After working with their customer service for about a week (including sending back one of the magnets so they could see them, they agreed to replace our magnets!

When the new ones got here, we had to go to UPS to pick them up.  It took them about a half hour to find the package (I was freaking out that they had lost it!!!), but the magnets were perfect!

I had also ordered a stamp (from Vista Print, I only paid shipping) with our name/future address (Ryan's current address)
Yayy Stamp!

This will be a lot easier than trying to print out return address labels

We went ahead and stamped all of the envelopes with out return address

And by "we" did that, I obviously mean Ryan did

He was really excited to be stamping envelopes :)

Once they were stamped, I went ahead and stuffed them!

Now, we just need our parents/friends to get us all of the addresses so that we can send them out! YAYYY!!!
